Breakfast in the Philippines!

I LOVE having family breakfast with Ma, Tatang, Nelvine, Tita Dina and Tito Arlene. We have breakfast around 6am everyday here at Nelvine's grandparent's house.  Breakfast usually includes coffee with something yummy like pansit, chicken, eggs, bananas or sweet bread.  So I woke up early the other day and I really wanted to make coffee for everyone since they always cook for me.  Ma, Tatang and Nelvine were up, sitting at the table talking. I then brought out the mugs filled with coffee, creme on the side and a container of sugar. I was in Ma's kitchen when I heard Tatang say, "Oh-My-God!"  I turned around to see what was going on and he said, this is SALT, not sugar!lololol! We were all laughing so hard! So I guess I had brought out the container with salt instead of sugar. Oops! So he got another cup of coffee with sugar this time:) When I make coffee in the morning now, they make sure I taste it first to see if the container has sugar and not salt.  It's pretty funny!
